Routers like Wave WiFi’s newest Dual-Band WiFi 6 AX Marine Network Controller, the MNC1850 wirelessly distributes fast and reliable internet onboard. Dual SIM slots provide access to 5G/4G LTE-A Cat 20 cellular data through Wave’s Global and/or Domestic Multi-Carrier SIMs. Onboard routers and Yacht APs (access points) keep all areas of the vessel connected even when carbon fiber or steel construction limit propagation. Hosting Multi-Active internet sources for various uses like weighted ratios when blending for source emphasis and redundancy creates some easy to use, transparent, and flexible benefits. Individual users/devices can also be specifically paired with a preferred internet source. For example, onboard cameras can be dedicated to a specific active source for constant surveillance. Wave systems help boaters simplify onboard networking systems by providing consistent internet access throughout the vessel. Wave WiFi’s proprietary GUI (Graphic User Interface) makes it easy to set up and operate all their hardware.
