Wave WiFi products offer outstanding performance because of the software technology embedded in each unit. The software permits the computer user to scan for Hot Spots and provides a detailed diagnosis of each Hot Spot. The user can select and connect to a Hot Spot that will provide Internet connectivity.
All Wave WiFi products are Ethernet Converters (EC) allowing the Wave WiFi unit to be connected to all Ethernet enabled devices; this could include a plotter or a laptop running Skype, allowing telephone calls at sea for the cost of a local call.
The software technology also enables Wave WiFi products to be integrated into a ships data network so that more than one user can access the Internet simultaneously.
