Just thought I'd let you know; The Rogue Wave is working brilliantly!

We've left the marina so the inability to connect to that network is not an issue anymore. We've anchored in a bay, connected through the Wave with a hotel's hotspot (I don't even know where or how far the hotel is from us- I can't see it).

I've got the Rogue connected to an Apple Time Machine and then three MacBook laptops wirelessly connected to the Time Machine. The two kids are doing their schooling and I've going to work on a writing project.

Brilliant! Thanks for a great product...

Hi Richard,

I finally made it back to Harbour Island last Sunday and fishing has been pretty good for Tuna and Wahoo.

What I want to say is that your WiFi equipment is awesome! I feel like I was living in the Dark Ages. I've got about 25 choices and the signal strength in really great. What a pleasure it is to be able to have this kind of service.

Dear Wave WiFi Crew,

This is not a tech question. I want to compliment you on this product. I read about it in the Family Motor Coach Association RV magazine.

All too often RV parks offer WiFi but also all too often the signal provided stinks and is weak and unstable. With the Rogue my connectivity problems are gone. The device totally rocks and I felt you deserved kudos.

I'm telling all my RV friends about it.

Dear Richard,

I am pleased to report excellent results using the Rogue Wave system. During a recent trip to the Bahamas, I was able to connect to a wifi connection point more than 5 miles away from our yacht, and I was able to conduct a perfect Skype telephone call while sailing in the middle of the Sea of Abaco!

It has performed flawlessly...allows us to connect to the internet AT WILL ... anytime ... anywhere we have tried. It's a great product which I am more than happy to recommend.

Thanks! Update worked well and now I can use WPA! The Wave WiFi has been a God send and has worked well ever since you replaced RF card a year and a half ago. We have been to the Pacific and back since that time and the unit worked well everywhere that we have gone! I even used it under way once by connecting to a lighthouse on Punta Mala Panama as we went cruising past!

Hi Richard,

We have installed the Wave WiFi system. Usually anything to do with WiFi falls far short of the expectations of how the system will perform; however, the Wave WiFi system has far exceeded my expectations.

It was extremely simple to set up and the Access point reaches all cabins in the boat. Our days of sticking little USB aerials out of hatches are well and truly over.
We just had the owner on board for 3 weeks in French Polynesia where the WiFi coverage in the anchorage is surprising good. The speed is acceptable but not fast.
We would normally get around a 5000 USD bill for this time on the Fleet 77 Broadband. So with the cost of the Wave WiFi unit and 150 USD of WiFi network costs, we are already nearly 2000 USD ahead after the first trip. The crew also had access to the WiFi which was great. Something that is out of the question on the Fleet 77.
